Initially providing training to optical professionals and practice managers. We also provide management consultancy and advice to a range of optical companies in the South East. In 2013 we branched out into online spectacles as we feel that there is an opportunity to provide quality spectacles and sunglasses at a fraction of the usual high street price.
All spectacles in this category are either pre-owned and refurbished or new old stock frames. Some will have the matching case and others won't but they are all covered by our usual warranty. Mid 90's my own pair, lightly worn, in good condition. Very sixties styling. Price includes standard plastic single vision lenses for distance, reading or intermediate.
We can usually put new lenses into your own frame providing it is still in good enough condition. If you wish to use your own frame please select the appropriate frame type and then choose which lenses you require from the lens options section. If you require standard plastic distance, reading or intermediate lenses then you do not need to select any other options.
Quality adult swimming goggles in two colours. One size fits all. Either Plano or Prescription. Choose your power or if unsure follow the directions below. If you wear distance contact lenses then choose the same prescription. Works on the best vision sphere principle so they are a good approximation of your prescription.
It is important that your frame is a good fit for two reasons. Firstly it must be comfortable and not constantly slipping down or rubbing behind the ears. Secondly if the frame is not fitting correctly it could affect your vision and you won't be able to see as well as you should be able too.
As an online practitioner it is not possible for us to fit your spectacles to you directly but we will always ensure they are set up properly before they are sent out.As long as you have followed our choosing a frame guidelines you should be off to a good start. In many cases your spectacles will fit as they come and do not require any further adjustments.

Amazing experience from this business. I had a sight test at Boots who gave me a prescription. The frames and lenses i wanted from Boots came to £290. After looking online I was able to buy the frames myself for £80, then these guys then made the lenses for me, and re glazed the lenses on my existing glasses, all for £50. Add that to the £80 I paid for the lenses it came to a total of £130, saving me £160 from the Boots price and getting my existing glasses done to boot.

Great service.
Customer service was good in checking that I had entered my prescription properly as it is unusual.
Glasses arrived 10 days after ordering which is reasonable considering my unusual prescription. I would imagine that most orders would be quicker than this.
The frames and prescription are as expected. Came in a case with a cloth and some lens cleaning fluid. Nice touch.
Prices are great.
The only thing to criticise would be that their websites presentation could be updated. It all works fine though.
Would order again.
