Tugford Farm is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), deep in the Corvedale, and overlooked by the Brown Clee Hill, one of A E Housmans 'Blue Remembered Hills'.
Tugford Farm is a family-run working farm in quiet rural countryside, but in an ideal central position for visiting south Shropshire's market towns and attractions, or take advantage of the vast network of footpaths (the Shropshire Way footpath runs on the farm boundary), bridleways (the Jack Mytton Bridleway passes through Tugford) and quiet country lanes.

Services
Wyndhams family have farmed Tugford Farm since 1949. It is a mixed arable farm of 320 acres of milling wheat, seed oats and 350 breeding ewes with the addition of a livery yard. The decision to expand into the tourism business was made in 2004 and the rest is history. Our aim is to extend our love of South Shropshire to our guests and hope they go home having enjoyed a warm welcome and relaxed stay.

The Tugford Farm self catering holiday cottages are Meal House (sleeping 10) and Trap Cottage (sleeping 4) two converted barns which have been finished and decorated to a high standard whilst retaining their charm and character of stone walls, exposed oak beams and trusses. We also have Bouldon & Broncroft B&B rooms which can be hired on a 'room only' basis when extra guests need to be accommodated on a self catering basis.
As it's name suggests this barn conversion was the place the 'meal' (corn) was stored. Up until only a few years ago we would've been bagging up the meal to take out for the sheep but now you can enjoy the high level of quality and thought that has gone into this barn conversion. The open plan theme downstairs creates a family and party get together feel.
Horses have been bringing their riders to Tugford on holiday for years now. The South Shropshire scenery is stunning and the vast mileage of bridleways, from the door step, is fantastic. Ride to the top of the Brown Clee and stand on the highest point in Shropshire. Turn right out of the farm and enjoy access through our farm taking you off road on grassy paths around the fields.
