Cleaver Cottage is a charming, friendly, family run bed and breakfast business in a rural location on the edge of the picturesque village of Appleshaw just 5 miles from both Andover and Tidworth and only a couple of miles from the A303 offering flexible accommodation with twin, double and family bedrooms available.
Our cottage is centrally located for visiting historic places such as Salisbury and Winchester, both fine Cathedral cities, and just 20 minutes from Stonehenge and the charming town of Stockbridge. Thruxton racing circuit is also close by and we are within the Test Valley which is famous for its outstanding chalk stream fishing.

I booked Cleaver Cottage through my work travel system who in turn used late rooms. It was booked the day before the stay and sufficient information was given at that point although the check in time of 5pm was not made clear.
I arrived early, 3pm however the owner was accomodating and allowed me to have access early. The room was lovely, it was clean, airy and had a homely feel. The shower room was also clean and appropriately furnished with hand and body wash. The shower was powerful and easy to use. Clean towels were provided.
The hospitality tray was stocked with tea, coffee and UHT milk

Nice quiet rural B&B. I stayed there for 6 months when I was working in the area and I could not have been happier with my stay.
Breakfast each day was good and the owners allowed me to change from the cooked breakfast each day as over 6 months a fry up every day would have been too much.
The area is very nice and very close by is an area where you can walk/run in a forest area that has a track running round the outside.
I was only cold once in the 6 months but it was in the depths of winter and the temperature was around -7 outside and there was heavy snow so you can expect it.
