The restaurant is tastefully furnished and the head chef is very passionate about delivering authentic meals. Whether you are looking for a cosy meal for 2, a celebration dinner, or a party booking we can accommodate up to 100 guests seated in our restaurant. Peking Cuisine is distinguished by elegant and mildly seasoned dishes as well as rich foods.
Garlic and spring onions are widely used and the flavours are distinct and memorable. The North of China is 'corn country' so specialities include a variety of dumplings (precursors of Ravioli), Peking Duck with trimmings, special noodles and pancakes. Thai cuisine finds its roots in the historical blending of Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai cultures.

Have been several times over the last five years. I have always found the service exemplary and the food of excellent quality. What makes the Jade Cottage menu differ from others locally I find to be the lightness of touch, delicately served food not swimming in stodgy sauce or un-necessary batter. In short you can enjoy a full meal or even banquet and leave without feeling you've ate the table as well. Highly reccomended.

My friends and I have been going to the Jade Cottage since it opened over 12 years and have always had an excellent experience as the food is absolutely first class.
Always welcoming, with attentive service and a varied menu with both chinese and thai dishes to choose from.
I don't think the prices are any more expensive than any other Chinese restaurant - but even if they are, the quality of the food at the Jade would certainly justify it.
The peking and thai feast is particularly popular and great value if there's a group of you - three courses including an excellent selection
