Services
The independent funeral profession has a long and proud history of personal service to local communities. Carrying on the family tradition is a way of life for many independent funeral directors. They are deeply committed to upholding professional standards. Some of the oldest, continuously operated funeral directors in Britain are locally owned family firms.
Our service to you starts when you contact us, whether by telephone or calling personally and often extends way beyond the day of the funeral. Should death occur at home there is usually a kind friend, neighbour or relative able to attend to duties in the sick room. Inform the family doctor/deputising service who will attend to certify death.
The next stage is a meeting with the Funeral Director. This can be arranged at a mutually convenient time and place, as many families prefer some breathing space to collect their thoughts before the meeting takes place. The Funeral Director will make all the necessary arrangements for burial or cremation on your behalf.
Our funeral service extends to any location and our premises situated on Huddersfield Road, Dewsbury, are ideally situated central to Dewsbury, Mirfield and all surrounding districts. Refurbished to a very high standard our premises offer a luxurious lounge for your comfort, a beautiful appointed Chapel of Repose, modern preparation areas and ample parking.
The day of the funeral is obviously the most trying and difficult of all. However, you will find the guidance of the Funeral Director, who has been with you throughout the arrangements, an invaluable support. Please rely on his knowledge and experience and accept his direction, to ensure a smooth and dignified funeral.
