Services
All our attention is concentrated on satisfying the needs of our clients and their families. We are flexible and responsive to your needs. This is our business. Our neighbourhood is your neighbourhood and we take personal pride in serving you well. Large concerns answer to shareholders; we answer to you.
All deaths must be registered in the area where this occurred, although arrangements can be made to register this in another area. If the person who has died is a married woman, you will also need to give her maiden name and her husband's full name and occupation. You will also need to take along the certificate of cause of death which the GP or hospital doctor gave you.
Arranging a funeral is a highly personal matter and whilst some people prefer to have a smaller, more intimate service, others prefer a more elaborate celebration of somebody's life. Where the funeral will take place (church, cremation chapel, cemetery chapel, graveside, elsewhere). Everything was carried out perfectly and with great dignity, and we were even touched by the care given to our young pall bearers.
Funeral Director's fee, including making arrangements, hire of vehicles, liaison with third parties on documentation and management of the funeral. Disbursements paid to other organisations on your behalf, such as church or crematorium fees and obituary notices. We will explain clearly to you what the options are and how much they cost so that you are fully informed about the choices you make.
Everyone has a right to be buried in the churchyard of the parish in which they live - assuming that one exists, and that there is space left. There is normally a fee charged for digging a grave. In a local authority cemetery there may be a further charge if you wish to purchase the exclusive right of burial.
