Services
We have over 20 years' experience and a devoted pet care team whose aim is to always put the needs of your pet first. The emotional and physical welfare of your furry family member is paramount. Our experienced staff spend the time with your pet to notice their every need. Over the years we have established a calm routine so that all dogs and cats feel secure in their surroundings and with the people who are looking after them.
We arrange our day to make sure all dogs have individual long walks around our fields spending time with them from first thing in the morning right through to when we settle them down for bed. We provide everything your pet needs for a comfortable stay, but you are welcome to bring along any of your pets blankets/fleeces, treats or toys to help them feel at home during their stay.
Don't leave your dog "home alone" sad and bored. If you go to work or are planning a day out without your beloved dog then avoid the guilt and bring them to us for a fun filled day where they will be lovingly cared for. We welcome and encourage you to bring along your pet's favorite toys, blankets, fleeces etc.
We provide heated kennels, bespoke pet care, but most importantly, loving care and attention for your pet. We cover Swindon, Devizes, Cirencester, Malmesbury and Wootton Bassett. Following recommendation based on our quality of care we have pet owners from as far afield as London, Ireland and Cornwall.
Our cattery at Flaxlands Kennels houses 12 individual areas, including family sized accommodation. You are welcome to bring along your cat's favourite belongings, such as blankets, fleeces, igloos and toys to help them feel at home during their stay with us. We provide everything your pet needs. However, please feel free to bring along food if your pet is on a special diet.

Our poor boy harmed in their care. Not sure how as we weren’t contacted when it happened. Appreciate these things can happen but the reaction was alarmingly inconsiderate. After sending a polite email asking for more information, we were accused of “bullying” and attacked on social media.

Our experience with Flaxlands was terrible. We found it very difficult to receive updates on how our pup was doing whilst we were away. When we picked him up he had sustained a significant injury to his foot which we were told was noticeable from 7 am that morning. We picked him up at 17:00 after they failed to advise us. After many distressing and expensive vets appointments Flaxlands refuse to admit responsibility for their obvious negligence. Terrible communication throughout. Do not recommend trusting this place with your pets.

We have been using them for over 18 years and always found the premises very safe and well managed, the kennels clean and the staff and service brilliant. Our dogs are well looked after and they have fun and enjoy their stay - so much so the last time we collected them they wanted to stay and play with the staff and doggie friends they had made during their visit. What you get with Flaxlands is exactly what they promise. We would not leave our pets anywhere else and would highly recommend Flaxlands to anyone who cares about their pets and don't want to worry about their welfare whilst they are
