Goldborough House Kennels & Cattery are a reputable kennel and cattery based in Swindon and have been providing a range of services for pets for a number of years. Our family-run company takes pride in providing pets with a comfortable environment, ensuring they feel safe and secure while in our company for over a decade.
Our professional team ensures your pet will be our primary concern, as we know how much your pet means to you. We are more than happy in dealing with all types and sizes of pets and are able to house some of your cats and dogs together, to help them feel comfortable. Services
Our kennels consist of two identical blocks, each housing 20 kennel units. Each kennel is heated and has an adjoining run (approximately 12 feet in length and 7 feet in width) that is completely covered by roofing. Within these kennels we have double kennel units that are capable of providing comfortable boarding for 2 or 3 dogs at any one time.
Our cattery consists of 20 heated units, set well apart from the kennels. Each unit is capable of accommodating two cats from the same family, providing spacious accommodation with ramps leading to the cat house, which is fully enclosed with a window and cat flap. Within the cattery, we have 4 double, interlinking units that provide the facility to board up to 6 guests (from the same family) at any one time.
All cats and dogs staying with us must be fully inoculated for the safety of all our guests. Cats must be inoculated and have all necessary annual booster injections against feline infectious enteritis (FIE) and cat flu. Dogs must be inoculated and have all necessary annual booster injections against hepatitis, distemper, leptospirosis, and parvovirus.
Louis loved his stay & came home smelling lovely. The videos they post are great, a good source of comfort if you are nervous about leaving your dog. My kids loved watching Louis having fun while we were on holiday, it certainly stopped them worrying about him. Excellent facilities, friendly personal service, dogs always come back happy and freshly bathed.

Geoff and Dawn were so welcoming when we visited 2 weeks ago to view their kennel facilities. The location is ideally suited for where we live. Last night was Cyphers first stay in a kennel environment. I can highly recommend the service and 5 star care that Cypher received. We will definitely be using Goldborohgh kennels for Cyphers future hotel of choice.

I honestly do not understand the 1x 1star review but our dog stayed at this kennels last year for the first time ever, he came back healthy and happy and seemed really excited with the staff upon leaving which shows he has been treated well. It's a nice place with a nice safe secure run for the dogs. Never liked the idea of kennels but happy with this place!

Dawn and Geoff took amazing care of our beloved cat Oscar bearing in mind that Oscar is 13 years old and has diabetes which requires 2 daily injections of insulin at specific times and regular check up to make sure his sugar levels dont drop. Oscar stayed with them for 13 days and came home super chilled and relaxed. Thank you, what a great team you make both ❤

We hadn’t put our dogs in kennels before so we were feeling a little apprehensive. The owners were extremely friendly and put our minds at ease. When we collected our dogs, they were happy and bouncy and had just had a bath! Once home they settled back into their normal routine as if they hadn’t been away. That, to me, means they were very well cared for so thank you Dawn and Geoff.

I sent my 4 legged fur baby here last week after much deliberation. he has a few behavioural issues so i am always a bit seceptical to leave him. i cannot rate this place enough they were amazing with him and me. they calmed my anxietys and made me feel at ease about leaving him. i would deffinetly recommend

My dogs have just returned from a stay here, and despite them being glad to be home, and glad to be back on a comfy sofa... They are happy, well fed and obviously well loved in my absence.
Believe me, I would never just leave my two in any kennels, and after visiting a few, had my heart set on Goldborough House kennels.
It was clean, calm and all the staff were approachable and friendly.
All things that I rate highly in anywhere!
Having worked in kennels, I know they can be noisy places and they tend to have smells, but not Goldborough. I was impressed at how there was no smell at all and everywhere

I use Goldborough House regularly for my two dogs and they are always happy to see Geoff, Dawn and the lovely staff who work here. The kennels are clean, efficiently run and, most importantly, the dogs are welcomed with cuddles and smiles (so much that they very rarely, if ever, look back at me when I leave them). Geoff and co have been really accommodating on the occasions when I've had to change plans. All-in-all, we're very happy customers.
