I started my career in the financial sector in 1997 when I joined what was Midland Bank, now HSBC. After doing almost every job available in branch banking, I completed all the necessary exams to enable me to give financial advice on mortgages, pensions and investments. After moving around the high street banks, I decided to spread my wings and become self-employed, joining a mortgage brokering practice.
