Come and see me at my clinic at Letchworth Tennis club for help with most musculoskeletal aches and pains. My name is Thomas Nors Pedersen and I am a state registered osteopath. As you may be able to see from my name I was not born in this country but originate from Denmark. I came over here in 1995 to spend a year exploring this wonderful country - I got hooked and never went back.

I trained at the British College of Osteopathy and Naturopathy where I completed a 4 year honours degree. Since qualifying I have been working in private practice. I have also lectured in practical osteopathic skills at a London university for several years. Since qualifying I have undertaken postgraduate courses in many subjects.
Services
I hope you find all the relevant information for my clinic, otherwise please dont hesitate to call. The first appointment will last 45 minutes and includes taking a full case history, diagnosis and treatment. It is important that you contact your insurer before commencement of treatment to discuss any restrictions and get approval for treatment.
What is it? Osteopathy recognises that a lot of pain and disability we suffer stems from a dysfunctional relationship between our body's structure and function. As an osteopath I treat musculoskeletal pain by balancing tissues and normalising function which then helps the body to heal. Osteopathic treatment consists of soft tissue massage, mobilisation of the spine and peripheral joints and where appropriate specific gentle manipulation.
I wanted to put together a course of yoga lessons focusing on what I would call normal movements for normal people. I want to try and explore what normal movement is for us, rather than try and rush into headstands etc. In my clinics I often find myself thinking "if only he/she did yoga the problem would solve itself".
