Our course flyover was expertly put together by Peter Byram from Langdale Broadcast services. A top of the range drone with high definition cameras captured the outstanding beauty and nature of our award winning golf course. A great risk and reward hole. A good drive will get very close to the green but the drive is tight with out of bounds left and trees and rough up the right.
The Golf Shop is the hub for your complete golfing experience. Our friendly team will check tee time availability, help plan the days activities and offer advice on the latest golfing equipment. Located next to the 1st tee; the golf shop is on hand for everything you need for your upcoming round. Foremost Golf are the biggest golf buying group and supplier of golf goods in the UK.
Our practice facilities are just as impressive as our golf course. With dedicated long and short game areas, you can fine tune every part of your game in stunning and tranquil surroundings. An open 240 yard practice area located next to the 3rd hole. Target flags are set at 50, 100, 150 and 200 yards enabling users to practice from a variety of positions.

Great little course tucked away near Lake Windermere. No bunkers but this course doesn’t need it - it’s tight, bouncy and twisty with a lot of blind drives and approaches. I’d love to play this with a local as there are clearly some much easier ways to play some holes, especially the blind ones.
Even if you drive it straight you’ll have some tough… approaches - small greens that are quite quick, and more than one shot rolled off the front or the back. Combine this with plenty of side hill lies and a ton of elevation changes and you’re in for a really interesting

Challenging and intimidating for the average golfer, especially intimidating 1st. No views of the mere, but greens were in nice condition, no bunkers but enough hazards without them. For big hitters it would be simple target golf. Holes not too long, but big carries off the tee, especially for ladies who were mainly practicaly on the yellow tees. Felt like it was shoe horned into a small site, lots of blind holes. An interesting experience.

Writing a review of Windermere shouldn't be that hard, and I doubt it will be much different to most other reviews. It'll be along the lines of "Windermere is a gorgeous course in stunning scenery, it's not long, but it makes up for that by being fairly tight. There aren't any bunkers, but you won't always get a flat lie. Oh, and it's hilly, so take that into consideration when deciding whether to get a buggy. The greens, tees and fairways are all excellent".
What else is there to say? My favourite hole is the par 3 8th.
