Drumrainey veterinary surgery is a traditional rural mixed practice that was established in 1949. Our practice is located less than a mile outside Magherafelt. We understand that if you have a passion for animals, making sure they're well cared for can sometimes be a stressful and worrying business.
Trevor qualified from Liverpool in 1978. Immediately after qualifying he joined the team at Drumrainey veterinary surgery. A few years later he became a partner in the practice and has remained here since. He has a keen interest in large animal medicine and he also enjoys orthopaedic surgery after completing a course in the subject in Edinburgh.

Mr Liam Young M.V.B. M.R.C.V.S. gradCERT DHH, completed a specialist course in dairy herd health in 2012. Liam can provide specialist advice on all aspects of dairy herd production such as calf health, fertility and nutrition. We can advise on all aspects of calf health from birth to weaning such as colostrum protocols etc.
