Hermanus Holiday Centres
Hermanus is a self-catering holiday park in the unspoilt fishing village of Winterton-On-Sea, Norfolk. Whether you're looking for a relaxed weekend break or a fun family holiday with something for everyone to enjoy, we've got everything you need for an enjoyable and affordable stay. You can stay in a unique traditional thatched roundhouse or one of our comfortable bungalows, chalets or apartments.

Many options are pet-friendly. We also have 40 acres of gardens, lawns and sand dunes close by, plus a swimming pool, children's play area, amusement arcade, bar, restaurant and laundrette. Winterton beach is two minutes away, plus you can easily reach Norfolk Broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and the beautiful Norfolk coast, plus dozens of fantastic local attractions.
Services
Hermanus is a leisure park on the east Norfolk coast with varied self-catering accommodation, bar, restaurant and plenty of on-site facilities. Hermanus has been owned and run by the same family for almost four decades. We pride ourselves on offering a tranquil retreat where holidaymakers, families and couples can escape and leave their cares behind.
Our fully refurbished restaurant, The Highwayman, is deservedly popular with both holidaymakers and locals. Come and enjoy a warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and delicious home cooking with a view of the waves. Our menu has something for everyone at prices you'll love: tasty starters, juicy steaks, flame-grilled burgers, classic English dishes, fish, pasta and plenty of vegetarian options, plus a daily selection of specials.
We have plenty of car parking on site. You'll find our main car park as soon as you arrive, and there's a smaller additional car park near the chalets at Lighthouse Field. None of our holiday homes have washing machines, but we have a laundrette on site for guests to use. Pets are welcome in many of our holiday homes, including some of our roundhouses, double roundhouses and others.
At Hermanus, everything you need is right on the doorstep. Many guests prefer to stay in and around Winterton-on-Sea, a largely unspoilt fishing village nestled in rolling sand dunes with stunning sea views. However, if you do want to venture further afield, you'll find a whole world of things to see and do within easy reach.
Pets are allowed in certain properties all year round except the main 6 weeks of school holidays. Dogs are also allowed on Winterton beach all year round. Please enquire if you would like to make sure your property is pet friendly for the duration of your stay. Bed linen is included and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but you will need your own towels.

The round houses look delightful and are reached by a steep hill between a bungalow and a wall, so can easily miss the entrance.
I can't comment on staying in them as l was only passing. The booking office only had one person in and hall seemed closed.
Lovely views from the roundhouse over the sand dunes and beach.
Not suitable for disabled.

I've stayed now for 3 holidays and love it. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the walk over the dunes to the beach is great. Absolutely recommended.

If you are looking for a lovely coastal retreat then come and stay in the little round houses. They also have chalets which accommodate larger families. Beautiful sand dunes leading on the stunning beach.

The beds were comfy, the shower could have been better though. Good nights sleep although the curtains were quite thin, so when the sun rose I got woken up by the light. Great location, with a pathway going straight down to the beach.

It's a special place which holds memories of lovely holidays through my childhood to now.
We are coming back in July with our two dogs.I look forward to stopping in the little dog friendly thatched round house. If I'm brave enough have a swim in the pool outside.
The carvery is always good from the restaurant Highway man and staff always friendly. The walks on the sand dunes and by the sea are refreshing and always loved by my pups and me.
