Rumburgh Farm
Rumburgh Farm is a small working family farm in a peaceful rural village in the heart of North Suffolk offering self catering accommodation. Our two spacious holiday lodges offer you the chance to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst overlooking the two lakes and open countryside. The area has plenty to offer visitors - quiet country lanes for cycling or walking, interesting bird and wildlife as well as local history.

How about spending time on the self catering lodge verandah and taking in the 'big skies' of Suffolk? Rumburgh is a small village with an excellent local pub but if you want more hustle and bustle, we are situated between the thriving market towns of Halesworth to the south and Bungay to the north and within a short drive of the charming seaside holiday town of Southwold.
Services
The two lodges - Kingfisher and Swallows - offer ground floor accommodation throughout and both have the same layout. The spacious main living area is open plan and has an impressive vaulted ceiling with French doors leading outside to a full length verandah which overlooks the trout lake. Guests can enjoy meals out on the verandah and watch the resident wildlife which includes kingfishers, swallows, barn owls, hares and ducks to name a few.
Booking with us is easy. If you would like to book for a full week's stay our start day is a Friday or a Monday. They are for 3 nights commencing Friday or 4 nights commencing Monday. Included in the price of your stay is the opportunity to fish in our lake, 20.00 metered electricity per week, all bed linen, towels and VAT.
Our picturesque family run farm is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in a beautiful part of East Anglia with direct access to the Heritage Coastline. There are many interesting places to discover and an abundance of good pubs and restaurants in the Suffolk Coastal area. The cathedral city of Norwich and county town of Ipswich are both within a 30 mile radius.
Dunwich is a small town settled between Walberswick and Southwold within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB. It is a perfect location for a birdwatching expedition, as it is situated close to the birdwatching areas of Dunwich Heath and RSPB Minsmere. Dunwich was the capital of East Anglia 1500 years ago but the harbour and most of the town has since disappeared due to coastal erosion.
Aldeburgh is an attractive unspoilt coastal town internationally famous for its annual festival of music and art started by Benjamin Britten. The festival takes place in June each year at nearby Snape Maltings. The town has many independent shops to enjoy. The fisherman still draw their boats up on to the shore and sell the fish from the beach.
