Another visit to this amazing restaurant with a very disappointing finish. The restaurant as always is very well set. We where seated very promptly to a nice booth table. The Shushi was very fresh and of good quality. The main course specially the pork dish was mix bag, the small pieces where nice a tender but the large strips where tough and chewy. Also we noticed that all the dishes lost all the unique Japanese veg that were usually present and replaced with green yellow and red peppers that if they where specified on the menu we would have not chosen. The worst part was the unbelievable way

One of the finest restaurants I have ever been too. Absolutely delicious with quality service. The decor is beautiful. Only issue can be the parking, it can be a few minutes away, but I'd walk a few miles if I had to for this place. Try the Karage and the Banana Katsu!

Our first visit to Ogino Japanese restaurant in Beverley was great experience. Although ‘going out’ and dining indoors remains rather strange under the current Covid restrictions, the Ogino team made us feel very welcome.
Ogino restaurant is a modern take on Japanese food and has a superb menu selection that I’m sure without doubt has something for everyone. The food is beautifully prepared and is packed with an explosion of flavours. An equally good drinks menu is available that matches the quality of the food.
Our waiter and staff in general was very good although at times the service

This was our first restaurant meal since Covid so that's back in March 2020 when we last ate out. We booked this a couple of months back and have been eagerly awaiting the date.
We were very happy with the Covid safety measures. As soon as we walked through the door there was a hand sanitising station and another when we got to the top of the stairs/reception desk. The lady who greeted us checked to make sure we had sanitised our hands, she took a temperature reading and our contact details. We were then shown to our table which was socially distanced from the other tables. Once seated we could

The food and service were excellent. We've been coming to Ogino for number of years now and have never been let down. I would probably even say its gets better with each visit.

We were staying in the area and we both love this kind of cuisine so had to give this place a try and I’m really glad we did.
Fantastic Japanese food and as some reviews mention it is a little pricey but the quality justifies it.
We both chose off the set menu which was really good value for money, a starter, a main, glass of wine or bottle of beer, a couple more drinks each and additional place of sushi each and it came to less than £70.
The items on the set menu were fantastic, not like some set menus where there’s a lack of choice.
The service was attentive and by staff who clearly

Excellent.
This incongruous piece of the Orient is sited up a fairly unpromising back staircase in a side alley in Beverley, but do persist, brave reader. Delights are within reach.
Once you're in, the restaurant is a quiet, modern, swish place.
Service is very good: we asked for vegetarian variations of the dishes on the menu, and they were very happy to oblige.
Green tea comes in a free-to-refill pot for your whole table, which is a nice touch.
The crockery is a piece of art in itself (but then I'm a ceramics fan).
And the food? Really good. Beats Yo Sushi. (OK - so that's
