Our staff, our most important asset, are a dedicated team of professionals who have all remained constant over a number of years and who all work towards a common goal and fully support our Company's ethos. Our team are on hand to offer advice and support whenever it is needed on a twenty-four hour basis.
We arrange every aspect of a funeral and each and every funeral is personal to the family and is tailored in accordance to your wishes. We follow the SAIF code of practice and Office of Fair Trading recommendations on funeral costing. Once the arrangements have been agreed we will provide you with a written estimate outlining the funeral charges.
When a death occurs, whether it be at home, a residential or Nursing home or hospital please call us on 01691 653116 (available 24 hours) as soon as you feel able. Initial procedures will vary dependant on the place of death. Our office team or duty supervisor will be able to guide you through all the immediate procedures.
Many people wish to organise and provide for their funeral expenses, ensuring their wishes are carried out and saving their family this burden. A Prepaid Funeral Plan is a caring, sensible and cost-effective way to do this. The advantage of a prepayment over a savings account or life insurance policy is that you can pay now at today's prices and beat inflation - no matter when the service is required.
When estimates are prepared it may not be possible to state actual costings for certain third-party goods and services until an actual order has been placed. Changes which may be made to the funeral arrangements after the estimate has been prepared may alter the final funeral costing.
In the event of the funeral account being forwarded by the client to a solicitor or other agency for settlement please advise David Davies & Sons as soon as possible.In the event of the invoice being presented to the Social Fund for assistance, we remind the next of kin/executor of their obligation to settle any outstanding balance with David Davies & Sons which the Social Fund will not cover.
