Services
Parkway Day Nursery is a family run business with children and families at the forefront of our provision and we pride ourselves on the high standards of care, education and quality we offer the community. Parkway Day Nursery Limited has been operational since 2013 and is jointly owned by Rachel Jones and Karen Coulson.
We have fantastic stimulating and secure indoor and outdoor environments for learning and development. Through planned activities all children explore seven areas of learning which follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. All activities are planned around the children's individual interests.
The setting supports the delivery of the 15/30 hours government childcare over our Morning or Afternoon session. Breakfast club and after School club facilities are offered to children attending Acklam Whin Primary School as well as other local Schools including Whinney Banks Primary & Saint Claire's Prmary School.
Staff have established very positive relationships with parents and provide opportunities for them to contribute to their children's care and learning. Effective evaluation and reflection help the management team to monitor the quality of the nursery. Staff and parents contribute to ongoing plans for continuous developments and improvements.
Once your child is registered and before they start you will be invited to visit the nursery and meet all the members of staff who will be involved in the care of your child. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your child's needs with the key person appointed to oversee their care. Your child's key person will be your main contact with the nursery and will be able to keep you informed of your child's activities and developments.
