Services
The nursery is complemented by a large outdoor play area that was purposely built with the different stages of a child's development in mind. The aim at Little Ladybirds is to create a fun, homely environment where children are given the opportunity to develop to their full potential. As a parent you have an important role to play in your child's development, so we keep you fully informed of your child's progress at all stages.
Children between the ages aged 0-17 months start their journey at Little Ladybirds in our baby room. It is large and spacious and has its own integrated facilities, including a milk kitchen, eating area (with high chairs), and a separate quiet sleeping area (with cots) so your child can sleep peacefully throughout the day and not be disturbed by those who are awake.
Children between the ages of 17 months and 2 continue their Little Ladybirds journey in our tweenie room. This room is situated on the ground floor with direct access to our lovely outdoor play area, which has a dedicated space for our under-2s complete with artificial grass so they can be outside even if the weather isn't great!
When children begin this stage of their nursery life we are able to introduce more educational-based activities, with the emphasis still being very much about having fun. The children begin learning some very important lessons so a wide range of themed activities are designed to aid their development and prepare them for their final move with the nursery - to Pre-School.
Children between the ages 3-4 complete their journey with Little Ladybirds in our Pre-School room. This large, first floor room is set out to mimic a classroom, so the children are prepared for the transition to 'big school', we even encourage the wearing of uniforms as part of this process.
Our highly qualified Early Years Foundation Stage Practitioners have an important role to play in ensuring your child follows a carefully planned curriculum which will allow them to further develop their skills in the key areas of learning and development.Ongoing formative assessment is at the heart of early years best practice and our staff observe children as they interact in their play and everyday activities.

I was so apprehensive about Thomas starting nursery after we spent pretty much 24/7 together since he was born. I cannot thank little ladybirds enough for how much they’ve put me at ease and been so patient and caring towards Thomas. I’ve spoken to a few different staff from Tweenies now and I’m so impressed with their attention to detail; I cannot recommend this nursery enough x

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old. This nursery have been absolutely fantastic throughout the last 3 years in raising her and recording all her educational milestones. All staff are friendly and the relationship they go out of their way to form with you and your child is amazing. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Your child and you will be very looked after. They also have an app so you can see what your child is doing/eating etc throughout the day for all the working parents out there. Once you come here you will not want your child to leave.
