Little Monsters Day Nursery School is a 60-place setting in the rural village of Anslow, on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. Our location (at the top of Beamhill Road) gives us the benefit of clean air and open countryside, whilst still being conveniently close to several main routes into Burton town centre and beyond, via the A38 and A50.
We offer either full day nursery care or individual sessions for babies and children from 3 months to school age, as well as a small holiday and out of school club with drop offs to and collections from The Mosley School in Anslow village. Whatever your reason for visiting our website, we thank you for your interest.

Services
Caring for the children and promoting their health and well-being are our priorities. Every child is greeted by a member of staff upon arrival and time is taken to chat to parents and exchange any pertinent information about the child.
We encourage the children to say 'goodbye' to their parent / carer and settle into the playroom, confident in the knowledge that they will be collected later and able to wave through the window as the parent leaves.Any child who is upset when their parent leaves, is offered comfort & support with a practitioner they trust on a 1:1 until they feel able to join the rest of the grouHealth & Well-being p.

Research suggests that the development opportunities for children aged from birth to 5 years should reflect (a) the role of key adults, including parents; (b) young children's desire to communicate and explore the world and (c) the importance of the peer group. The young children's learning environment should be stimulating, exciting, safe and varied.
We actively encourage 3-way communication between practitioners, parents and children and were complimented on the way we work together in our last Ofsted report. We ask parents help us to help the children by letting us know about any special needs / circumstances as and when they arise.
We, in turn, will be able to tell you how and what your child has done during the day, any 'Wow' moments or achievements and of any problems that occur during their time here.We aim to have consistency of staff, in order that you can be confident that any trends / changes in any aspect of your child's behaviour / development will be noted promptly and discussed with you as and when necessary.
