Super friendly owners, very accommodating for me with wet clothing getting dried, and location within a short walk to city centre

Yvette and Norman were so welcoming, we felt at home straight away.
The room was lovely and clean and Yvette's bathroom design was brilliant, what a creative and talented lady. The breakfast menu was fantastic and absolutely delicious, wished we had booked a table for dinner.
Will definitely be back.
Thank you Yvette and Norman for making our first visit to Carlisle such a positive one.

Fabulous & helpful people - Langleigh House B&B has a certain Victorian dated style but don't misunderstand the kindness and professionalism that Norman & Yvette offer. Not to mention very good value.

The very essence of a perfect bed and breakfast. Yvette and Norman are excellent hosts, so welcoming and their beautiful home is warm and comfortable. The extensive breakfast menu is outstanding, includes an Arnold Bennett omelette!! Our room had a vast bed and a luxurious claw foot bath where I had the most amazing deep ans hot bath, very welcome after walking 16 miles. We wish we had known more of Yvette’s culinary skills, as we would have booked ahead an evening meal. Also may I add Carlisle was quite surprising. Lots of beautiful Georgian and Victorian terraces in tree lined streets. We we

Nice place and good location. Although when I stayed (booked by my husband) hygiene wasn't great, which let them down. I also found the owners a little uptight, which didn't make the place a relaxing one. After mentioning a problem and told it was fixed, it wasn't. After this and with the owners tone, eye rolling and the atmosphere that followed I didn't feel able to approach them when other problems arose as I didn't want to be viewed as a nuisance. On reflection I think 3 stars is fair.
