We are a family run guest house in Carlisle and nothing is ever too much trouble provided you give enough warning, as the reviews from previous guests and national newspaper articles will testify. Caron Archibald takes great pride in her home and love welcoming people to stay with them. Caron has a bit of a reputation, thankfully, for her fantastic breakfasts.

This borders city history goes back 2000 years with a fine cathedral, Carlisle and award winning museum Tullie House. Carlisle castle was originally built by William the Conqueror in 1092. It has been the setting for many battles and skirmishes over the years and more recently it is the home for the museum of the now defunct Kings Own Royal Border Regiment.
From junction 43 off the M6 Motorway follow the signs for Carlisle City Centre. This is the A69 from Newcastle and is Warwick Road. In approximately one mile you will reach a junction with Aglionby Street going off to the left. We are situated on the corner of these two streets. We are approximately a 10 minute walk from the railway station.
