Booked Ashbourne Taxis for a collection from East Midlands Airport, usually pay £45 from other taxis firms.
Ashbourne charged £60,00. Certainly would not recommend without getting a fixed price first.

Left stranded in the middle of nowhere. I booked a taxi to pick us up from tissington hall at 11.30pm, we had been at a wedding. They never showed up, I called them and they said they had no record of our booking, but I spoke to a taxi driver, a brummie, in the afternoon and he confirmed the booking.. we were left stranded 10 miles from our hotel. I wouldn't recommend

I was charged £35 for a 7 mile journey, did not tell us the price when we asked Muhammad Saleem up front. He was very rude when we asked him to justify his pricing. I would never use this firm and our hotel were staggered when we told them of our experience. Please do not use this firm.

Not on time and for 1.9 miles they charged £10 there and £10 back. No meter running. Charged inflated prices because we are from out of town. Avoid if possible.

Excellent service with polite, friendly drivers, always on time.
Lady on the phone also very friendly and helpful.
No racing about throwing you around the car like others I've had the misfortune to use when returning from hospital with an elderly friend.
Used on several occasions, will always be my first choice.

Brilliant!
If you need to go somewhere, ring them up and they send a nice person round in a decent car and they take you there..
The only catch is that you have to pay the local county council fare...
