We had a fabulous stay at The Kensington Hotel; if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Upon arrival we were greeted by Antonio who arranged an early check-in and showed us around our room and the hotel amenities. We were also delighted to have received a room upgrade to a luxury studio suite and stayed in one of the newly renovated suites with impeccable decor, heated bathroom floors and a walk-in closet. The booking also included a bottle of champagne and breakfast included. Well worth the cost for a five star hotel in London especially when factoring in the Doyle Collection promotions. When

This has been my favorite hotel in the world since 2012. Beautifully appointed rooms and an attentive staff make it impossible to beat. The moment you walk through the door is you feel surrounded by elegance and luxury. My family and I can’t get enough of their breakfast spread- delicious and convenient! The most recent time we stayed (fall 2021), Karan ensured that we had our favorite room, and wanted for nothing. So excited to return soon!

This is the place to stay in DC. Everything from my early check-in at 10am has been outstanding. The service, the room, the cleanliness of this hotel, the room service!!!! All seriously amazing. I have an expensive taste but that doesn't mean I like to spend a ton. This hotel price point was great! If you join there iprefer club you get a nice discount on your room. Housekeeping was amazing, turn down service, chocolates and not to mention my fruit bowl and macaroon delivery compliment of the hotel. The bathroom has heated floors, comfy robes and slippers all provided. I plan on staying here

A truly regal townhouse in the area of South Kensington lies The Kensington Hotel. We were greeted at the door and led to our table for the London landmark inspired afternoon tea. I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and the elegant but cozy decor. Sipping on some delicious mojito by the fireplace really set the scene.
The staff were lovely, although it did initially take a while for them to take our tea and drink orders, but it gave us more time to admire the surroundings and spark a conversation.

Long wait - ordered the cheese tray only ( how long does it take to make a 3 cheese board?) when asked what kind of cheese they were - there were a discrepancy between the server and the manager -
Got the cheese tray with ( blue cheese a Brie - and a Swiss ) with jam and nuts and 2 pieces of bread and crackers - totally different what the manager told us - nothing extravaganza- service was terrible. Definitely I will not recommend it to my friends.

So thrilled to re discover this elegant & fabulous place after being unable to dine out during the pandemic! They were beyond charming, welcoming, clear and vigilant about their safety measures, and chill if you just want to enjoy the panoramic view of lovely and lively Dupont Circle while nursing some killer cocktails/drinks and splitting a tapas or two. We loved the unique, healthy & fresh tapas options- and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. We look forward to returning when next we're in the neighborhood! Thank you, Adrienne

Our 8th Anniversary Staycation was ahhhhmazing thanks to the staff at The Dupont Circle. Their customer service is impeccable. We have stayed in dozens of hotels in DC over the years & this was by far the one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in. From the tour of the hotel & restaurant, to the Anniversary gift in our room, to the HEATED BATHROOM FLOORS in the marble bathroom OMGGGG! The decor and amenities are upscale, modern & chic. Dinner at The Pembroke was delicious & they also had a complimentary bottle of champagne upon our arrival. The hotel informed the restaurant

We loved staying at the DuPont Circle hotel! Lots of cute restaurants nearby, along with a Metro Station. The location is perfect! The Washington Mall, and the White House are also within walking distance, or you can grab one of those scooters and jet on over there.
Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. We had an espresso maker that was refilled daily. We also were able to have a mini fridge brought in for my medication. Not a very large hotel and the outside is very unassuming. Valet parking took quite awhile and the space upon which to pull the car forward is quite congested and tight. The room itself was very nice, but the particular room I had must have had some issues with their windows as the bathroom was freezing regardless of the heat.

I just want to clarify that the staff were great but the hotel itself was SO frustrating and not designed with an actual human being in mind.
First of all my room was TINY. There was a bed and desk and that's it - no drawers, no ottoman, barely any room to walk around. The bathroom was the size of a closet with just a toilet, standing shower, and sink - no counter or vanity to even put your toothbrush/toiletries on!! I've never seen a hotel or motel without a bathroom counter. I bruised my leg by bumping into the toilet because that's how cramped it was in there. The "bathroom

I had stayed here before this current stay and enjoyed it. This time, I was able to get a king suite for the same price as a regular room (a deal offered on the website). It was still close to $300 a night but worth it to me. The suite had a king bed, sofa, chair with ottoman, complimentary mini-bar, TV, desk and chair, closet with shelves, safe, iron and ironing board and large umbrella. the bathroom had a separate shower, 2 sinks, toilet and tub. The amenities were very nice-some in the shower, on the sink and on a tray in the bathtub. They also left me a small bottle of wine with a wine

So disappointed by this hotel. The staff was very friendly but other than that it felt like an overpriced Super 8--and that is a far cry from the way they presented themselves online.
The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on, and when we asked the front desk about it they offered no help. The rooms are teeny, and bathrooms offer no privacy.
I wouldn't stay here again.

Everything about our hotel stay was perfect.
Walking into the lobby, we were greeted by welcoming hotel staff. We were shown where the cafe is located, the bar, the area where fresh coffee will be served early in the morning as well as a $25 hotel credit to be used at our leisure.
Once we were given our room keys, we were whisked up to the top floor. Is that suede on the hallway walls? Sexy! Our room was a corner room and brought nice lighting into the room. The bathroom fixtures were contemporary and the shower was large, so large that there wasn't a door?? The bathroom products were also

Well, valet parking moved kind of slow... however I forgot the guys name who helped me but it's in my checkin statement, smh. I was surprised that he was also the front desk guy who checked me in also... He had a great personality and told me that I had a deluxe room...
The HOTEL: was ok, it had a sewage smell throughout the hotel.. and it looked and of course, smelled old. Nice colorful sitting area though.
The Room: I stayed in room 631, it's suppose to be a "deluxe room" with a king size bed. It was ok. I didn't like the layout. The bathroom was right next to

Location location location. That's #1.
The staff is first class. Special shout out to front desk (Elina) who went out of the way to ensure I had a bandaid but more importantly an iPhone charger since I forgot mine.
The rooms are stunning and the tv has all you can want and more by way of channels. The bed is super comfy and spacious. All the comforts of home - plus some.
The bar staff was super responsive but not overbearing. Eager to please the busy bar area and delivering 100%.
So glad to have booked this location for work travel but would spend my personal $$. I'll give this

Excellent value! The hotel is walking distance from the metro and a five minute stroll to bars and clubs. The staff is very friendly, and the decor is clean with a modern twist. The room itself while small is very nice. The pillow and sheets were super soft and had a nice fresh smell. I loved the marble bathroom and the towels are so large-it felt like a spa version of a beach towel.
We parked in a metered spot nearby, so we didn't pay the hotel parking fee. Most hotels in DC charge for parking. They had a farmers market around the corner on Sunday which was really awesome! So many vendors

Stay here if you like sleeping in rooms that let a lot of light in at night and in the morning. I woke at 6 AM, with enough light in my room to read a book. Prior to going to sleep I shut all the shutters as tight as I could, but nonetheless I woke to a bright room.
Also the room is sort of strange, the bathroom essentially is in the bedroom. Also the TV is small and it takes about one minute to change the channel. I guess locations good, but if you're traveling for work it is not a very comfortable place.
