Myself and 2 friends booked one of the Domes for an evening meal. We were initially delighted with the dome as it was spacious with heating and a speaker for music however our experience unfortunately went down hill from there. Our service was very poor from a waiter who initially came into the pod and pointed us in the direction of (what he thought was) the correct menu from which we made our choice. He then took our order and came back shortly after to explain that WE had chosen from the wrong menu. He then continued to argue with us about this claiming that he had not told us that this was the

So this is going to be a little long winded but is the first review I have written due to the awful experience we have just received this evening.
We “dined” here tonight as a family of 8. The evening started perfect. A stunning venue, polite waitress and gorgeous setting. Things started getting worse when the first and only round of drinks we got was missing parts (no big deal, it’s hospitality, this happens).
The menu read beautifully and the 8 of us were basically salivating at the thought of our meals. Nobody ordered starters as the desserts sounded too good and we didn’t want to

We had a lovely afternoon tea here. The building and interior were beautiful, service was good and the food was delicious.
Only complaint, the entertainment was an acoustic guitarist who was bellowing tunes at the top of his lungs, making it very difficult to have a conversation. The songs didn’t fit the atmosphere of the room and were better suited for a party night or evening entertainment - not a quiet afternoon get together. We weren’t the only table who thought so.
(No disrespect to him - he was very talented, just far too loud for a quiet and cosy afternoon tea setting!)

Fabulous night in a pod at Taypark.
We chose the Tasting Menu & enjoyed 5 delicious courses with a glass of champagne.
The pods are heated, but wise to dress appropriately & layer up - wraps & blankets required, but an amazing dining experience !!

Where to start. We had our wedding here. It was the most wonderful and magical experience. The venue is spectacular, the staff are first class, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The food and drink went down a storm. A special mention goes to Shona for all of her help in planning and executing our vision. A day we will always remember ❤️

Taken there for a birthday meal. Very impressed. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was well priced and tasty. Only criticism would be they use wooden serving boards with greaseproof paper on top. This breaks up when you are cutting your food. Also the chunky chips were slightly on the raw side. All in all I will definitely be going back.

I didn't know this was what Dundee needed, but it is.

I came here with my sister-in-law for brunch and totally fell in love with it. It's a boutique hotel which I imagine is great to stay in. They also keep pretty busy serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to Dundonians.

It's a beautiful example of the Scottish baronial style with a sympathetic update by the current owners. The ceilings inside are stunning, with roses all around the edges. I would love to wake up to that! The gardens are small but very attractive and quiet as the house is set back from the main road down a posh
