Commanding an enviable position overlooking the sea on The Scores in St Andrews, Hazelbank is perfectly located. We are only 200 metres from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, Old Course first tee and University Admissions, Library and Arts faculty. Hazelbank is a small 10 bedroomed townhouse property, situated within St Andrews Conservation Area, which has been owned and managed by the same family for over 30 years.
Our four front bedrooms provide guests with magnificent views of the golf courses, St Andrews Bay, the West Sands and the Angus Hills and coast in the far distance. Hazelbank was built in 1898, originally as a private residence for a tea planter retiring from India, before becoming a Private Hotel in the early 20th century.

Surprised there are no reviews here yet. The place has been here for a while. 10 rooms. Very clean. Very attentive staff. Breakfast is only 8-9 but an excellent breakfast with lots of hot food options.
They are used to golfers. They provide extra space on the main floor for your bags. Close to everything.

Along with seven other golfers, we had a wonderful week stay at the Hazelbank Hotel recently. Michael and his staff hosted us beyond expectation. From the start we were warmly greeted and made to feel like family. The accommodations, particularly the ocean view, were lovely. In addition, the Scottish breakfast was "down home" and hearty. Michael had a story or two to share and Emma's cherubic smile brightened everyone's morning. I give this warm and friendly home away from home five out of five stars.
