I was very disappointed with this pub. I went on Saturday afternoon, there were very few people and after waiting 30 mins for someone to take us the order we decided to leave. During the time spent in there, we went several times at the bar to order the drinks at least, but they said someone will come at our table. This never happened.

Yesterday we had a staff Christmas lunch and it was wonderful. I loved the decorations, they were very thoughtful. I love how we had 2 separate long tables, the layout was great. The food was tasty as always and everyone else enjoyed their meal. The staff were very kind with their service. Thank you to all of the staff that was involved with preparing our Christmas menu, it was a very enjoyable. Finally, I definitely recommend The Globe Pub.

Terrible Sunday Roast Experience
I’ll stress first up we’ve eaten here midweek for lunch (when it’s been very quiet) and it’s been good.
So we booked here for Sunday roast under recommendation to celebrate my Mums birthday; oh dear!
First off - “table service only today” so no pre meal drinks unless sitting down. Call me a cynic but bar service possible when the local team at home so was this an approach to get “service charge” on top?
No matter, sat down with the family and the afternoon commenced. Ordered from the set roasts within 15 mins and sat amongst a pub about a third

Went here for a get together with some of our clients before heading to the Rugby. Excellent service from the very attentive and professional staff who did a fantastic job!
Good beer selection with some Beavertown Neck Oil on tap which was lovely!
The food was excellent great presentation and quality everyone was very satisfied!
Definitely worth a visit!

Nice bar and restaurant within the neighbour. Staff were polite and patient.
The mushroom sauce served along with the Sirloin was excellent and good for the chips.
Lamb shank was a bit dry. The salad and cheese were well seasoned.
Fish and chips were okay and the green beans were nice.
I love the Asahi beer served by the restaurant.
However, there were a few flies indoor. We were quite annoyed by this. Other than this, the dine in experience was good.
