The Boaters Inn is situated on the Thames in the beautiful Canbury Gardens, just a ten-minute walk from central Kingston. We feature a riverside beer garden that also backs directly onto the park and a quiet sunset balcony. Our menus change with the seasons with our chefs using the freshest ingredients to deliver an enticing blend of both classic and contemporary dishes for you to try. Nice pub in a fantastic location and excellent food. Generous portions too. My only quibble is with the plastic water glass I was given (we were dining inside), despite asking for a replacement. I've never known a (quiet) pub to run short (I was told) of glasses.

Was recommended to try The Boaters. A very hidden gem (hard to spot in the dark)
Would be a lovely spot in the summer, right on the river.
Friendly staff. Good choice of menu.
Had chicken and ham hock pie which was very good and husband had Fish, chips etc.( Even ate all the batter as it was light and non greasy.)
The only gripe I have is that both meals were served on very cold plates and restaurant area could have done with more heating. Otherwise would have rated it a five.

A really nice Pub nestled in busy Kingston. The food is absolutely fantastic, I had the Sea Bass and Sourdough bread and highly recommend it. The service was very speedy and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. I'll certainly come back another time!

Charming traditional English pub by the river. Food was really tasty.
Large outdoor terrace with fairy lights, chimney inside. Definitely recommend.

I had a lovely experience there. My family went to celebrate my sons birthday, I am vegan as well as my toddler, the other family members aren’t and everyone had a tasty dish to eat. They actually had a lovely vegan shared plate which was nicely put together, filling and nutritious not the average boring vegan burger and salad all the pubs offer! Recommend it

The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. Our waitress, Saher was extremely accommodating and attentive. We had a lovely evening thanks to the great food and friendly staff member who took great care of us all night! :-))

Am new to the place and very pleased to have found it. Excellent location by the river. Loads of outside space which is perfect for these times. Friendly, quick service and good food. Coming back as soon as poss.
