Focusing on incredible authentic Turkish cuisine, the team who brought you Aksular Restaurant in Enfield, EN6 now bring the complete Turkish gastronomic experience to Potters Bar- delicious food, hand-made traditional decor and furnishings, and a highly experienced chef originally from Antalya. Aksular can be found on the doorstep of Potters Bar train station, around 100 yards from the Potters Bar Theater at 149 Darkes Lane.

Our exquisite menu consists of the finest quality ingredients prepared in the traditional manner. Every item is prepared and cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients that we have delivered every day. Special mention must also go to other traditional dishes such as cacik, falafel and an extensive range of wonderful kebabs and grilled fish that are cooked on a red-hot charcoal grill.

Great place for grilled kebabs. I ordered the large lamb shish and the meat was very succulent and tender. The chicken shish and lentil soup was also very good. Would highly recommend.

Get a takeaway occasionally, I usually get a shish chicken and it’s consistently good and fresh. Nice bread. Quick and efficient service. Great for a local takeaway.

This is hands down the best Turkish restaurant that we have been to. Exceptional customer service; great food, and even better staff. This place truly puts the ‘big’ restaurant’s to shame and really looks after their customers.

This restaurant is truly one of the dining gems of Potters Bar.
Usually I takeaway with friends or family and their set boxes are very fairly priced and over excellent food and a decent potion of it!
The staff ate always friendly and happy to serve.
Highly recommended to all.

Our first time in the area, my husband and I are staying at a local hotel. We love Turkish and from the two choices we decided to eat at Aksular. The menu is quite extensive, there is lots to choose from. We had the platter for two and the calamari. Both really good and with the complimentary salad and bread more than enough food.
We really enjoyed it, it's a cosy restaurant with seating available both in and outside.
I just wish the staff were happier, although polite and nice enough were not very friendly or smiley.

Opted for the Sea Bass fillet, and was very happy.

A very nice Turkish restaurant on the high street of Potters Bar. They have a wide variety of kebabs but also cold and hot starters, special Turkish meals and fish meals. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly. Prices are accessible and the quality of the food is really good (also portions are very big). Definitely will come back again.
