Gardening Club has really hit the ground running this year with a lovely variety of flowers and vegetables being planted. Residents have thoroughly enjoyed potting the vegetables from seed, watching them outgrow their pots and finally planting them in the garden to see them flourish. Paxton Hall is an impressive Grade II listed building of high architectural value with large impressive grounds and mature trees. The original house dates back to the Elizabethan times when it was rebuilt and renovated in 1738. The stately home was converted into a modern residential care home in the early eighties and a new wing added in 1988/9.
Paxton Hall Care Home is a private residential care home for the elderly registered with the Care Quality Commission for 39 residents. Intermediate care for elderly patients who have been discharged from hospital and require temporary rehabilitation. Paxton Hall will provide a high standard of care in a homely, comfortable and secure environment.
