From Summer 2020 I am only taking on clients who need Bereavement therapy. This may well include Anxiety, Depression, Stress or more - and I can help with these - but the focus of my practice is Bereavement. I specialise in just a few counselling subjects. Bereavement, Depression and Anxiety (including Panic Attacks) are my main subjects.
Unlike other counsellors who will listen to your problems on any and every subject, I choose to specialise in a few fields, because with these I know I can make a difference to your life. I will not waste your hard earned money. Many counselling problems are based on anxiety or depression, if you have any doubts, call me.

Services
I specialise in a few subjects (Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression and Stress) and believe I am a master of these. These are subjects I have experienced, either myself or seen them closely at work through being in HR. If I don't think I can help you, I will tell you. My objective is to complete my work with you in six sessions, or sooner if I think that you are better.
There are many types of anxiety. Maybe we are anxious about travel, or an exam. The impact of the anxiety could mean that we don't enjoy the holiday - from the lead-up, the getting there and being anxious all the time we are there until we return home. Or for an exam the impact is that we don't give of our best and so don't achieve the result we are hoping for.
Many of us struggle with our emotions when someone close to us dies. Whether it is a spouse, parent, sibling or offspring we sometimes experience painful emotions. Naturally we feel grief at the time of the death, but other emotions may arise over the following 12 or 18 months. There is no time limit, no set pattern, distressing emotions (such as anger, and guilt) may occur through not being able to come to terms with the loss.
Depression is a state of mind in that everything appears in a negative light. It is more than a mental issue, it can be caused by an underactive thyroid or prescription drugs or many other reasons. Depression Counselling is recommended by medical professionals to help you overcome the effects. We can all feel miserable for a few days, but when this happens regularly and becomes weeks and months then it is depression.
Other triggers of loss (of job) are also loss of relationship (separation, divorce) and more. Any of these could lead to depression or anxiety. This is about your own personal worth. A person with low self-esteem does not value themselves. I believe it is quite broad, in that these people do not see their own value and do not feel positive about their contribution to life.
