I am an experienced Practitoner & Therapeutic Counsellor and have been in private practice for over 10 years in Reading Berkshire. I work one to one with adults over 18 years and aim to offer a comfortable, safe, and non judgmental space for talking therapy.

I am an approved Lecturer & Tutor of CPCAB (Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body), currently delivering L2 Cerificate Counselling Skills, L3 Certificate Counselling Studies and L4 Diploma Therapeutic Counselling courses at CPTA (Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Academy).I am experienced marking students work and ensuring criterion are meeting expectations and standards for internal and external verification.

I offer a professional, compassionate & confidential therapy using an integrative, client centered, and holistic approach which focuses equally on mind and body. As a Counselor & Hypnotherapist I believe that good health and wellbeing- physical, emotional, and psychological - depends on the mind and body working together in harmony; so I offer help not only for physical symptoms but also for any underlying emotional causes.

Depression is one of the most common psychological problems affecting nearly everyone at some time in their life, either through personal experience, or through witnessing a family member or friend suffering from persistent low mood. Even though it's true that we all go through spells of feeling down, clinical depression is more than simply feeling unhappy, miserable or fed up for a few days.
Stress can best be described as a physical, emotional, and psychological strain caused by our body's response to pressures inflicted on it from the outside world. This strain varies in terms of severity and impact from person to person, as everyone has different stress triggers and can handle different degrees of pressure.
