We are proud to be Huntington's local butchers and have been since 2001. We aim to continue our excellent service and provide quality products for our local community. David Wilson began his butchering career on leaving school at the age of sixteen, working for Snowden's of York, Scott's of York, Howard's of Clifton and Sisson's of Pocklington.

Why not try our selection of new delicious pie flavours such as, curry and mango, black pudding and red onion chutney, Chilli Jam Man, apple, chorizo. Fancy something different, then order a pie celebration cake perfect for any special occasion. Don't Forget the Dog! We provide cooked dog bones, home made liver cake and pet mince to keep your best friend as fit as a butchers dog!
We are located at Brockfield Park Drive, in Huntington, York, a popular residential area just north of the City centre, we are located along with a number of other local shops serving our local community and further afield. We are always happy to help or give advice, so please pop down and pay us a visit.

We used to buy all of our meat from the supermarkets.. but since April last year we buy all of our meats from these guys. Our 7 year old son used dislike meat but since we’ve been getting it from a proper butcher he’s tried most things. Can honestly say it’s some of the best meat we’ve ever had. Customers for life now 👍🏻

I can’t recommend this butchers enough! I’ve put in my order and used the drive through on a number of occasions during lockdown. The quality of the meat is superb, their pork pies are epic! Quiche is gorgeous. And the service is the best! Every member of staff throws a smile your way. It’s just what you need during these unprecedented times! Thank you all so much for serving your community during lockdown. 🥰

Without a doubt Wilsons of York are amongst the best, if not THE best butchers in the York area.
Everything is top quality and the staff are past masters of always being busy but still being able to find the time to pass the time of day and exchange an anecdote or two.
I won't say never, but I rarely buy my meat anywhere else.
I would and do recommend Wilsons of York to everyone ........
