Our business is based in the beautiful village of Debenham in Suffolk, England, which is close to Constable country. I take our pride in being the 4th generation in my family to be antique dealers who have been buying and selling antiques for over a century. With our expanding web presence in the UK, we also have a base in the USA with Debenham Antiques inc.
Along with expanding our international web-based business, we also quite unusually retain our high street presence, with a large retail shop which we use to display our finest goods and to offer the client a more personal service for the those who like to discuss their needs.

Found Ian at Debenham Antiques to be incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. The quality of the 19th Century salon set we bought from him is superb and very fairly priced. All aspects of the service here exceeded my expectations. Will definitely use them again and would recommend continental buyers here - 4 days from order to delivery in France!

Extraordinary customer care and service. I bought an extremely large and unusually shaped piece of furniture, which the transport company told me was impossible to get inside my home. So it had to go back to Debenham antiques, where the owner took great care considering a means of breaking down the piece in order to then reassemble it at mine. He also took it upon himself to take 'care' of the transport company, after some unprofessional behaviour on their side. He took responsibility and care of things that were not his problem or responsibility. However he proved extremely generous with his time

I recently purchased a bureau plat from Debenham Antiques. It's a beautiful piece and in my opinion it was priced appropriately. I had several questions and Ian Collins at Debenham went out of his way to be of help. I ordered white glove delivery and the service could not have been better. I will most certainly buy from this company again when the opportunity presents itself.
