Services
My name is Sophie and I am the Nursery Manager at Robin's Nest. I have worked at the nursery since 2009, I have a CACHE level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and am also the SENCO for the nursery. I hold Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection qualifications as well as specialist SEN training.
Our Baby Room is a bright, inviting room where we encourage the babies to explore and develop with a sensory approach. With a maximum of 9 babies each day, the room is a calm oasis with a wide range of natural resources. Babies are given the opportunity to be creative and enjoy painting, sticking and sand and water play.
Our Nursery School caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years. The children develop their knowledge through stimulating activities and equipment. This is the age where friendships are beginning to form and creativity and fun are our priority. Your child's keyperson will help them develop their social and physical skills by encouraging independence and freedom of choice.
Robin's Nest Day Nursery employs a qualified chef, with experience in catering for young children, to produce all nursery meals in-house. Our chef specialises in children's nutrition and has undertaken additional training to further her skills. The chef devises menus on a 3 weekly rolling basis in line with the Children's Food Trust's 'Eat Better Start Better' guidelines.
Situated metres from beautiful woodland, Robin's Nest is fortunate to have a lovely large, enclosed garden which is used on a daily basis. The children can manage risk with a climbing frame, rope and balance beams. The children are able to stretch their physical skills and enjoy the freedom to run, ride, slide and climb.

BEST nursery ever. My boys love it, its all they talk about, everyday they come home so happy.
The staff and ladies there are amazing, they really put their all into making the children smile.
My boys have learnt so much in the past 2 years of being there.
I wouldnt put them anywhere else, its such a safe and happy place.

Robin’s Nest has taken care of our two sons, and we couldn’t be happier with the care the have provided for 5 years now. Our boys has loved coming to nursery and the staff have been amazing. I would recommend Robin’s Nest to anyone looking for childcare.

My daughter has been going since she was 4 months old, and they have been superb. She has come on so much, and has a great support network around her. Starting with baby room and moving up into toddlers, the girls who look after her are amazing. My daughter looks forward to going there, which is always a good piece of mind for me too :)

Both my children have attended this nursery and I absolutely love the care they have received, my son came from 7 months and left preschool this year and my daughter from 11 months and at 2.5 still attends, they are more flexible than any other nursery we viewed, and my children are always happy to see their key workers, I love that they have the park so close to use, my son will miss everyone at this nursery that helped shape him and prepare him for reception I can never thank them enough.
