Food is being served every day in our restaurant, riverside garden, plus our new, covered area! We look forward to welcoming you! One of the best riverside locations along the Thames, The Riverside, Lechlade, is the perfect destination for good pub food and accommodation. So what better place to enjoy a relaxing drink and a meal - or stay overnight - especially during the summer.
We're open for food every day. With lots to do on the river, we are also a stones throw from Cotswold Wildlife Park, The Cotswold Water Park, National Trust properties and many historical towns. The river Thames runs directly along our garden's edge. Perfect for watching winter flocks of swans or soaking up the sun on glorious summer days.

Services
Sitting right on the river (and where comedian David Walliams started his Sport Relief 140-mile swim down the Thames from in 2011), our garden area & terrace offers a wonderful place to watch the world go by. Looking out over the historic 18th century Ha'penny Bridge, you'll see swans & ducks gliding past, together with boats big & small passing through or mooring up.
The safety and well-being of both our customers and our teams is our number one priority. Based on the latest Public Health England guidelines we have put enhanced health and hygiene measures in place to help ensure our customers have a safe and enjoyable visit, and our teams are being looked after.

Food is tasty, better than what I expected from a pub. The location is lovely. I am giving three stars because of the waiting time on food - standard 90 minutes - as stated in the restaurant before you order. It’s not fast food, they say, however there are many restaurants that cook and don’t heat the food and they’re faster. I think they are understaffed for a location that it’s so busy especially when the weather it’s nice. We could not see many people in the kitchen. The prices are a bit high considering it’s a pub and there is no table service. Overall, we had a nice meal.

Unbeatable location on the banks of the Thames. Associated boat, kayak, pedal hire centre good value with rentals from half an hour. Stayed here for two nights, excellent ensuite room, across the car park from the pub, so not too noisy. Good food served, but no breakfast on weekdays. No problem as the excellent Lynwood cafe is nearby in the town square. Open from 8.00am.

Much a beautiful place to just sit and relax. I went with my grandmother who has trouble walking and needs a wheelchair. Everything was accessible and easy for us to get to. The food was yummy, hot and fresh. I had the seafood basket little disappointed as it was small portion. Other than that would definitely return. Thank you
