Orchard Sports Massage & Remedial Therapy
I am a qualified Sports Massage and Remedial Therapist, Pregnancy Massage Therapist and a Myofascial Release Practitioner, Dip. I first trained as a fitness instructor in 2012 and started "abusing" the gym therefore sustaining a good amount of injuries that proved quite difficult to "fix" at the time.

Having done some research, I came across a therapist that successfully rehabilitated me and also introduced me to to North London School of Sports Massage. This is very I began my journey to become the therapist and the person I am today, so Thank You Berry!

In recent years, upper back pain has become a familiar complaint from people who work at computers most of the day. Most types of ankle sprains happen when you make a rapid shifting movement with your foot planted, such as when you get tackled in football, slip on wet grass or loose you ballance on high heels.
Extremely beneficial to athletes, gym goers or even those that are desk bound, a sports massage experience will vary from person to person depending on what their injuries or aggravations are. Sports massage is designed to to provide a deep and rehabilitating process that manipulates soft tissue to prevent injuries and get your body ready for whatever you want to put it through.
Myofascial release (MFR) therapy focuses on treating muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood, oxygen, and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. There are a number of conditions and symptoms that myofascial release therapy addresses e.g.
As well as changing your life, pregnancy changes your body to accommodate and protect the new life growing inside you. As a result you will experience postural changes, an influx of hormones, weight gain, increased plasma and blood volume and the shifting of organs.

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage - to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation/mobility and make you feel good, but it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant woman and her changing body.Assists in maintaining good posture and adjusting to a changing alignment caused by the baby's increasing weight.
ScarWork is a specialised gentle manual treatment, similar to scar massage, to help patients with scar tissue, fibrosis, adhesions and change in tissue health following surgery and radiotherapy. Sharon Wheeler, an American therapist, developed these techniques over the last 40 years and now teaches around the world.

Just seen Anca for the first time and was very pleased with my session. She is very friendly and certainly knows her stuff. The session was very relaxed and there was no pressure to return, unlike some. I will definitely be going back, as money allows, always the problem. I would highly recommend her I feel better physically and mentally - how did she do that?
Great masseuse!

Great professional service performed by a very knowledgeable therapist!
Great professional service performed by a very knowledgeable therapist. I've been to many sports massage and physiotherapists within the past few years and Anca is one of the best I've had the pleasure of meeting. She provides you with an excellent quality service, whilst being very welcoming and understanding of your needs. She also gives in depth explanations as to why she does what she does and what exercises you can do to help yourself between appointments, including putting together a personal exercise plan with video

Professional, knowledgeable and very good at her job. Nice clean comfy house and she puts you at ease. After one session I have noticed a difference, with some handy exercises that show straight away what a professional eye can achieve. Highly recommend.

I didn't want a fluffy, gentle massage - and I didn't get one! Anca found and worked on knots and tightened muscles all down my back. All the tension was sorted. Brilliant. I'd been able to book online and after the treatment some exercise suggestions were e-mailed to me. Extremely reasonable price and excellent service. I'd definitely go back!

I have suffered with back and shoulder pain for years, I have a massage every now and then but nothing has compared to Anca. She is nothing short of a miracle worker! She is also very friendly and welcoming. I felt relaxed straight away. Lots of knowledge, very strong and completely at ease with what she is doing.
