We pride ourselves in being a community-based, wholly independent Opticians. This is reflected in our client base as we see a lot of familiar faces year on year, together with a host of new customers and people who want a more personal, individual service and have defected from the large chain opticians.
Keith took over Silver & Rose way back in 1996, since then the Practice has gone strength to strength under his ownership. As well as being the Managing Director he is also a Qualified Dispensing Optician. Terry joined Silver and Rose back in 2008, he is now a Director of the company and is passionate about providing the best service/eye care to our Patients.
Silver & Rose Independent Opticians & Audiologists have a range of frames and lenses that will be covered by using your NHS voucher. We accept NHS vouchers from any other registered Opticians. Myopia/Short-Sighted: This is an eye condition where the objects in the distance appear blurry and objects close up appear clear.
One of the things that set Independent Silver & Rose Opticians & Audiology apart from its competitors and many of the high street multiple Optical chain outlets is that we have a fully functioning Optical Laboratory in our own Practice; Where our spectacles are carefully calculated and precisely made.
We provide a professional Audiology and Hearing Aid Service within our practice and provide a full, comprehensive, professional hearing health care assessment. As we get older, our ability to hear begins to change. This change in hearing is a gradual process and it takes time for people to become aware of the impact it has on their lives and their loved ones.

I visited Silver & Rose after a metal spring hit me in the eye at work. They were able to see me first thing the following morning and once they’d assessed the injury, also completed a full eye exam. I’m now on their reminder list for my biannual eye check up.
I found them to be very professional, thorough and efficient. They were a pleasure to deal with and I’d highly recommend them.
