It is our aim to provide care and an early learning environment which is tailored to each individual child's needs, in safe, secure, happy and relaxed surroundings. We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is made up of a statutory framework for the Early Years. This sets the standards of learning, development and care for children from birth to five years.
The daily routine is planned around a three hour session and the EYFS Characteristics of Effective Learning. Continuous provision runs throughout the day, with children having choice on the activities and resources they can access, with planned, small and large group times during each session providing maximum opportunities and experiences over the day.
Please wait by the Car Park Entrance, at 11.45 am the Pre-school staff will allow the children into lunch. At the end of lunch time the children will be handed to their carer at 12.30 pm. If you require wrap around care we offer this at either end of the school day from 7:45 - 6:00. The children will be taken to and from the Preschool classroom and a familair adult will stay with them until they are settled.
