Braunston Pre-school is a non-profit making charitable organisation managed by a voluntary committee made up from parents/carers and staff. Braunston Pre school is a friendly and welcoming pre school operating in the Village Hall in the rural village of Braunston. We provide Early Years education for children aged 2 to 5 years old, offering morning and afternoon sessions during term time (8:50am - 11:50am and 11:50am - 14:50pm) Monday to Friday.

Services
Children learn best through play so we work mostly on a child led basis. Any planned activities are worked around the child's interests, as well as observations of the child, to ensure we are meeting the developmental needs of each individual child. We have a range of toys and resources, inside and outside, for the children to explore and we have story and song/music time at the end of each session.
We use an online learning journal called Tapestry Journal for observations. This will be set up, with parent/carer consent, when your child first starts with us. Parents/carers will be able to view their child's learning journal at any time from a pc/phone/tablet. Observations are made up of photos, videos, notes, EYFS statements and the characteristics of effective learning (COEL).

Where do I start! Absolutely outstanding setting. All the ladies have made my sons time at preschool absolutely amazing. When he first started he was so so shy and all the ladies have been so so supportive In bringing out his confidence. We will never forget his teachers at Braunston Preschool.

Our youngest daughter loves coming to Pre School. Being an early years professional myself, I found it quite difficult to find the right setting for us, until we visited Braunston Pre School. Staff and committee are very caring and approachable. My daughter has been here for over a Year now and her confidence has grown so much. The changes being… put in place to ensure each child’s individual needs are being met and so the children learn through what they enjoy, are brilliant. The outside play area is also so much better now too.

The Braunston Pre-school team feels like a family. They go above and beyond with every single child, offering amazing support whenever is needed. Both my little ones love their pre-school and come home with a… big smile telling me all about their busy/adventurous day, they also bring weekly arts and crafts made by themselves. They are setting the children for success in that place.
