A lot of rules, none of which are posted on their website
no eating in the room
no kettle in the room.
no using the kitchen after 11pm
no ironing in the room.
Little privacy as Duncan and his wife clean the room themselves
Very stingy with the central heating and no additional heater allowed.
Good location near the city centre.

Very welcoming hosts, made me feel really at home as did staff. Nicely decorated and comfortably furnished rooms, with en suite, access to laundry facilities and a pleasant outside sitting area.
Having use of a kitchen was great. It was quite a narrow space but I'm sure the hosts would find a way to resolve it if someone felt a guest hadn't been helpful about sharing, since they were very kind and helpful.
I enjoyed the area - easy access to station and town centre and to the gorgeous Common. Friendly local cafes, pubs and take aways, as well as supermarkets and a great bus service. My five week

Good budget accommodation in the heart of Southampton. Comfortable and well serviced, with all you need. Self catering so be prepared, but there is a large co-op and plenty of takeaways and restaurants within walking distance. Be aware of who you're sharing with, as some guests hog the shared kitchen!

An really nice, clean B&B at Southampton, but quite particular.... all rooms have it's own showers and toilett. Nice room size, no breakfast offered,.... on the other side, you count with a full kitchen and sets to cook your own food, having your fridge and all you need to keep or cook your food or drinks.
Many of those I have met here, are living long time in here. That means something!!. I have only been here for two days and this is like a ....... just like a family.
No doubt I will be back here I'm sent to Southampton again.
I love this place.
