Have just returned from a week in the main house with my wife and daughter plus my older daughter and her family too. Lovely old house, very comfortable with plenty of room (there were 9 of us inc 3 very young grandsons!) Loads of safe outside space. The kids quickly found the chicken coop at the end of the field and were rewarded by a dozen fresh eggs - which they loved. We were also welcomed by home made scones and fresh local milk & cream. Lovely!
Very easy to find from the ferry terminal. Right next door to Butterfly World - in fact you can walk around a track at the back to get there, Also

Red Squirrel Lodge is absolutely amazing, perfectly accessible for someone in a wheelchair. Rose offered us a lovely cream tea on arrival. Truly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful holiday at Red Squirrel Lodge (despite not being fortunate enough to spot a squirrel!). The cottage is excellent for a wheelchair user, well equipped and spacious. Everything was spotless and we felt very safe in these Covid challenging times. The owners were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive, just there when we needed some help or advice. The cottage is in a good area for exploring the island where nothing is too far away. The nearby road with no pavements meant we didn’t venture out without the car though. There are lots of wheelchair friendly places to visit and

Just got back from a self catering holiday at Grange Farm. We loved it, such a beautiful setting, with lots of outside space. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Rosemarie and Danny were perfect hosts. The Cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated, but I have to say my favourite thing was having the resident chickens joining us every time we ate outside. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend Grange farm for a relaxing but conveniently situated holiday.

Totally idyllic break. Rosemary and Danny were so attentive. Beautiful surrounding grounds, cosy, spotless rooms and great breakfast - everything you could need. All the small touches make it extra special, local lavender on the pillows, local honey, fresh fruit salad and lovely fresh coffee at breakfast. All served with warm smiles.

We recently enjoyed an excellent weeks stay at Red Squirrel Lodge. We received a warm welcome from Rosemarie and Danny, along with a complimentary Cream tea and freshly laid eggs. We were a party of 6 adults and all slept very ccomfortably, best of all was the step free access and facilities perfect for the Grandparents with us. Constant amusement was supplied by Squirrels, Rabbits and Birds outside the windows. Would highly recommend this lovely Lodge.

We recently stayed at Grange Farm for the second time. Rosemarie and Danny provide a really warm welcome and a breakfast so amazing you really don't need to eat much for the rest of the day! Nothing is too much trouble, and Rosemarie offered many thoughtful things to make our stay comfortable and easy for us and our toddler. The family suite is such a great idea and is one of the main reasons we came back again (as well as the breakfast. Did I mention the amazing breakfast?). Our extended family basically took over the whole house and Rosemarie didn't bat an eyelid at three young excited boys running

We have stayed at the Grange Farm a few weeks ago. We were 6 adults and two small children and stayed in 2 double bedrooms ensuite and a family room which were 2 connected bedrooms and a bathroom. The rooms are spacious, traditionally furnished, very clean, have comfortable beds, a fridge, tea facilities and even a travel cot was available. Rosmarie prepared us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed watching the red squirrels and rabbits hoping around. Would really recommend as conveniently situated. Good value for money compared to the mostly overprized and no kids policy hotels on the isle.
