Shernhall Pre-school is a friendly and caring multi-cultural pre-school located in the heart of Walthamstow. We are a non-profit making charitable organisation run by a committee of volunteers and parents. We are open during term time for morning and afternoon sessions. In addition, we offer a Lunch Club which enables us to be very flexible and offer full day care as well as half day places.
The pre-school takes children from age two years until they are ready to move up to school or a school nursery. Shernhall Pre-school is a common starting point for children who go on to Our Lady and St George's, Henry Maynard and St Mary's C of E primary schools which are all just around the corner.

Services
Shernhall Pre-school is a multi-cultural pre-school that offers flexible childcare for children aged between 2 and 5 years. These sessions run for 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) and we can cater for you and your childs needs by specifically designing your sessions to suit you (subject to available spaces).
Shernhall Pre-school is a not-for-profit registered charity that works in partnership with parents and carers. The pre-school is managed by a committee of volunteers made up of parents and carers. The pre-school staff are professionally qualified the early years sector. The pre-school aims to provide a safe, stimulating and fun play environment for children aged 2 - 5 years.
Our Flower Room provides a fun stimulating environment for three to four year olds. There are many different activities to keep the children engaged as they enjoy the free play and structured early years educational activities. Our quiet focus room is a lovely quiet and calm room which has recently been renovated.
Our Rainbow Room is for our 2-3 year old age group, in this room routine is focused on learning through play, in this room we also begin to encourage self independence - with support when needed, to also develop their own ideas and direct their own play. To learn to respect others and develop their social skills in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
