We are a family owned and run business, bringing London the tastes of Palestine and Lebanon. Our head chef is Grandmother who cooks the most delicious and amazing dishes and still manages to keep the boys under her sparkly gaze! Services
Hiba Express in Holborn is the mother ship for the Hiba Experience and offers dine-in, takeaway and delivery as well as corporate and events catering (see Corporate Catering and Events Catering). Here we have an extensive menu with over 80 items and platters covering soups, hot and cold mezze items, main dishes, pastries and salads.
Mini Hiba is the first offspring from Hiba of Holborn and most items from the Hiba, Holborn menu can be found here. They are freshly prepared daily with the same quality and standards that we are reputed to hold. The Mini Hiba team is a dynamic, young group of enthusiastic people who have been working at the main Hiba site for the last two years - and bring with them the Hiba spirit.
Hiba Street, just off Tottenham Court Road, around the corner from Goodge Street, is our third eatery. It is aimed at all the busy, busy, busy people working and studying in this diverse part of central London. Again, there is a selection of items available from the main Hiba menu, with the emphasis on food that can be eaten on the go!
The choice includes Mezzes (cold and hot), Main Courses, Salads, Wraps, Pastries and Desserts. However, Hiba Express isn't just for vegans, we cater for all - a winner for vegans and their friends. AMAZING food! Hummus super delicious and the chicken shawarma is perfectly done. We ended our lunch with kunaf, and it was sooo good. The customer service is great, everyone was helpful and awesomely chatty… By the way, it is Christmas Day, and everything is almost closed and no transportation, so we planned to walk to Hiba and it was totally worth it… thank you guys for everything 🤗 Long Live Palestine 🇵🇸

Halal food in London. Great service & good food. Lots of choices. I had Half Grilled-Chicken and my friend had Chicken Shawarma. For the side dish, we saw Palestinian rice on the menu and decided to try it. We love it. Picture of our dish below taken by my friend, Alya. For coffee lovers who love strong coffee, you can try the Palestinian Coffee. Just £2.50. The small pieces of bakhlava they gave us as complementary was nice too. Next time gonna buy their bakhlava. The price of food and drinks here are reasonable. The half grilled chicken set was only £10++

Birthday treat for my work wife, initially we went to All Bar One but it was heaving! A disappointment turned into a blessing. Wanted somewhere local to the tube. Spotted the lights, looked at the menu, invited inside, seated, drinks - highly recommend the fresh mint tea and the fresh mint lemonade! Placed orders but on watching orders come out amended our orders due to the fantastic presentation of alternative dishes, being new to this food wasn’t sure what to order hence sight was our choice. What an absolute treat, mixed grill, vegetarian dish, mezzo platter for one, all highly recommended

Was honestly the best dinner ever/my life. I celebrated my birthday with 20 guests downstairs. The food was delicious and affordable, it was BYOB which was super fun for a big group, and the service was stupendous! They made sure to help my friends bring out the cake and were bringing everything straight away. I highly highly recommend Hiba Express as a birthday destination. The set meal for 2 is just absolutely phenomenal. I cant wait to come back again!!!

Absolutely beautiful VEGAN food at Hiba Express The quality and freshness of the food was clear to see and taste- customer service fantastic was made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at the door. If you are looking for healthy vegan options we highly recommend this restaurant- would book in advance the place was packed when we were there ❤️

Superb Food and Customer Service. Very polite and helpful staff, always smiling to the customers, gave free bread with Homous and some complementary bakhlava with mint tea.
Food is very tasty and fresh and everything is priced reasonably too given this is placed in central london. Great ambience inside.

The food including the shawarma me and my wife received was excellent. The reason this establishment fell short is it took 30 minutes to receive our food while we waited in the restaurant. I believe I heard the manager tell the cooks they forgot our chips which is why the delay. Also I received no condiments with my chips which were take away. Got to give people ketchup or Mayo. It's these little things that get you the extra stars otherwise it's average. Manager I believe or the person taking our order who ran the front, seemed nice also. I would go there again, but request a condiment

We have had Lebanese before, but in addition to quality food - the service was wonderful. My wife had expectations of what a Lebanese restaurant should have, and the milk tea and other things weren't on the menu. After a quick chat with our server, all was provided forthwith.
And yes the food was wonderful, and served quickly. I enjoyed the Chicken Shwarma, dolmas, and rice. It was disappointing we didn't have a refrigerator in our hotel... the portion sizes were large and we would have loved to bring leftovers back to enjoy for breakfast.
It's super convenient for those on foot

Holy cow this was good!!!! This was my first time eating Lebanese food, but if you're into Mediterranean dishes you will love this place. Service was quick and the food is made fresh. We were limited in some of the things we could choose because we came close to their closing hours. The spread was just what we needed after being on the train for the last 6 hours.
If you're in this area of London definitely go here! It's worth the time.

The best restaurant we ate at during our week in London. We are making this review a little late so, for the life of us, we can't remember what we ordered. My wife and I came here with my cousin and my parents and we ordered a couple of appetizers and a main dish for each of us. Needless to say we were pretty hungry.
The restaurant was a little busy. But despite this, the service was incredibly attentive and friendly, the decor and photos were fascinating and the food was delicious.
Even if you're in London for the traditional British cuisine, this restaurant is a must.

Possibly the best Lebanese food I've ever had (aside from my Lebanese mother in law!). Staff was very friendly. Even gave us free herbal tea and baklava after our meal. The aroma and flavor of the tea was amazing. Tabouleh was very fresh and not too soggy and lemony like other places. Kidbeh was spot on and babaganoush was excellent! Not bitter like most experiences I've had. A must if near the Covent Garden area!

I just am...underwhelmed. Nothing bad, I suppose, but totally dry falafel, smokey with-an-aftertaste baba ghanoush, and a poorly chopped tabbouleh. Again, not terrible crimes all told, but certainly not something that has me rushing for a three-peat.
That said, I was really impressed with how quickly the food was prepared, and how well the chicken was grilled.

Oh my gosh ... such, such good food. Vegetarians can feel comfortable here as there are many, many options. I got the halloumi sammie - the only thing that was lacking was the lettuce - it was weak and kinda ruined the taste of the entire meal. But WOW it was delicious.
If I lived in London, I'd be here regularly. Lots of items on the menu to choose from and it's all authentic Middle Eastern food. MMMMM

I had the vegetarian platter, which had 5 different starters on it. Everything was cold and we didn't even receive any pitta with our hummus. The best thing on this platter was the hummus. Everything else was like it was prepared the day before and had just been sitting around.
If you order a wrap to eat in, they give it to you as if you were taking away. Apparently some of the other options were good.
Very casual atmosphere, so don't expect fine dining.
