Arabica Bar & Kitchen
We've travelled extensively through the fertile valleys of Jordan, mountainous villages of Lebanon and vibrant cities of Beirut, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem to procure the finest middle-eastern ingredients. We draw inspiration from a culinary kaleidoscope of delicacies discovered on our adventures, to recreate the deliciousness that epitomise the breadth of flavours, colours and textures of one of the world's most exciting food cultures.

In the grand tradition of ancient traders, we have an extensive range of fresh middle eastern meze, hard to find cooking ingredients, Turkish delights and baklava for delicatessens. We also supply catering-scale quantities of fresh dips, salad, pastries and cooking ingredients for restaurants, hotels and contract caterers.

Our dearly beloved bare brick Victorian railway arch is a short walk from London Bridge, in the heart of Borough Market - where our journey started way back in the early noughties as 'Market Traders'. Join us at the polished concrete bar to watch our chefs at work and linger over a Levantine inspired cocktail, or hunker down for a Middle Eastern style feast.
The restaurant is housed in a ground floor corner of the Limestone clad Aga Khan Centre building, designed by world renowned, Pritzker prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki. A stones throw from Coal Drops Yard and Granary Square, Kings Cross, the outside terrace faces the grassy meadow of Lewis Cubitt Walk and the hotly anticipated Persian-inspired Jellicoe Gardens by award winning landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith.
Selfridges Food hall is our residence in the heart of London's West end shopping district. Feast your eyes on our Middle-eastern deli counter where you'll find fresh salads, dips, authentic meze, savoury Mediterranean pastries, crispy buttery baklava and all natural Turkish Delights, plus.

Drop in any day of the week and our team will be happy to help you curate a Mediterranean feast to take home, advise on spices to infuse your cooking, or warm a falafel wrap dressed with crunchy pickles for a quick lunch on the go.An abundance of choice for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike.
James started out at Borough Market, armed with little more than a cool box nearly 20 years ago, selling a small range of Middle-eastern meze and Lebanese street food from an 8 foot trestle table. Determined not to lose touch with our market roots, we continue to showcase a plethora of fresh dips, salads, savoury Mediterranean pastries, baklava and Turkish delights on market days from a stall next to Arabica Bar and Kitchen, in Jubilee place.

Brought a Shawarma wrap and all I can say is that this place should not be labeled as Middle-Eastern. The wrap was extremely bland, and the flavours were completely wrong (Wrongly seasoned for a shawarma). If you’re used to Middle-Eastern cuisine then this place would be an insult to your palate. Stay well clear

The food was very nice and atmosphere lovely. Only issues were it was very dark (couldn’t see the menu or food) and the falafels weren’t so good. Loved the pistachio chicken

Price could be reviewed but the food is nice. Good portion sizes, just enough to savour the taste. Good presentation, eat environment and friendly staff. Charity donations are automatically added to the final bill rather than being optional.

Great place for a late dinner on a Sunday after a few drinks in the pubs of Borough. Shared several dishes with my pals and each was great. Can thoroughly recommend. Will have to remember to come back when in the area.

Oh my word...such fabulous food, cant believe how fresh it all tasted, despite being sent by courier, loads of variety, highlights for me were hummus, tabbouleh and the beef and rice, fantastic value too. I would highly recommend.

Food was very good although the service was a little bit pushy -i understand that each booking has a maximum of 2 hours but the waitress was being also pushy even though we were the ones waiting to pay! Also they brought all the mezze/tapas too fast so some of them got cold by the time we could eat them.l :(

We visited Arabica in Borough Market and cannot recommend highly enough. They very kindly held our table for us as we got stuck in traffic coming in. The food was delicious (best hummus I’ve ever had!) and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was brilliant. Will definitely come back next time in London. Thanks, everyone!

Absolutely amazing food and great service! No problem adapting one dish to meet my dietary requirements. If only I hadn’t eaten so much, I might have had the chance to try one of delicious desserts. Highly recommended!

Bad online customer service - I saw their adverts on Facebook for the Baklava trays and wanted to make a large order for Eid to give out as gifts. Their website didn’t show or give any details on what baklava was included in each tray so I sent a message on Facebook, which went answered and then after a few days I called the number listed on their… Facebook account to get more information. It was answered by a someone from their borough market branch that kept explaining that they were based in a market and he wasn’t sure about online orders. They were very brash and dismissed

Yesterday my son and I were having lunch here when the London Bridge terror incident happened and we had to abandon our lunch to run upstairs out of potential harms way. I would like to commend the staff of the… restaurant on the extremely professional way in which they managed the situation and put their customers first, reassuring us all the way. We had had enough of our lunch to be able to say that the food and service was excellent. We hope to be back again soon. Thank you to all staff at Arabica at Borough.

Great spot for some middle eastern grub. Small plates allowed our group to taste several different dishes. The waitress stated that we should 3-4 plates/per person. We ordered 5 dishes plus dessert and that was more than enough. Highly recommend the hummus with lamb and fritters.
