As the Headteacher of Emsworth Primary School, I believe that by working together we can create a strong relationship, resulting in the very best outcomes for your children. We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating, challenging and caring environment where children can develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually and be prepared for their future lives.

We are a truly inclusive school community and passionately believe that local children have the right to attend their local school. Our vision, 'Enjoy, Persevere, Succeed' is central to all we do as we prepare children for their next steps in life, both educationally and socially. These school values are underpinned by our work towards the UNICEF Rights, Respecting Award and our willingness to be fully involved in local community life.
Services
We are a truly inclusive school community where the needs of all learners are met within a caring and exciting environment. Within a consistent framework for teaching and learning encouraging teachers to be creative and innovative to achieve the best possible outcomes. Adapting our teaching to meet the needs of each group of learners at Emsworth Primary School.
At Emsworth Primary School it is our intent to deliver a high-quality history education that will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. It should inspire pupils' curiosity to know more about the past. We equip pupils to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments, and develop perspective and judgement.
Emsworth Primary School is ideally located just a short walk away from the centre of our picturesque little market town of Emsworth in Hampshire. Nestled on Hampshire's border with West Sussex, Emsworth is a delightful place to visit, and has a long history associated with fishing, oyster dredging and boat building.
All pupils are engaged and interested in their learning. They are polite and friendly, and enjoy talking about their learning. Pupils are rightly proud of their school and their learning. Almost all parents or carers who responded to Ofsted's online questionnaire, Parent View, reported that their child is happy in school and that they would recommend the school to others.
The headteacher has lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection and we also have senior leaders who support this role. We have a monitoring plan for our safeguarding procedures and we review our practice in a constant cycle. We conduct an annual safeguarding audit and, alongside the Governing Body, identify our strengths and areas for development.
