Services
Bosham Primary School is centrally situated in the attractive and much visited village of Bosham. The six permanent class bases radiate in pairs from the administration area, adjacent to a well-equipped hall. The semi-open plans areas adjacent to the class bases provide a flexible working space, whilst the class bases provide a more enclosed area.
A Bosham child has a passion and curiosity for learning, has high aspirations and will leave us with a portfolio of memorable knowledge and understanding of the world around them. At Bosham Primary School, we believe in making learning exciting, fun and simply unforgettable. By the time the children leave us, they will have blossomed into independent, creative and emotionally intelligent learners who achieve well.
This building still exists as a private house. The only remaining evidence of the Victorian school structure is the bell encasement re-sited on the roof of the lower base and the presence of the School House in School Lane. Our present school is unique in its design, winning an architectural award soon after it was built.
Learning at our school is based on a set of core values that we evolved by working with our whole school community - teachers, learning support staff, children and governors. The core values of independence, creativity and emotional intelligence underpin each of our learning experiences. We actively plan opportunities for the children to develop in those areas as we believe they are the key to helping children become life-long learners.
Bosham Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place which we refer to in our prospectus. Parents and carers are welcome to read the Policy on request; a copy of the policy can be found on this website.
