Because we are a small home we can provide a safe and secure enviroment for people with Dementia. We will assist them to live a full and active life using community facilities (planned trips out), also providing a full range of activities chosen by the residents within the home. All clients entering the home will be fully assessed by their named carer.
Family and friends will be included in building a complete well being care plan to ensure that all client's needs are met. It is important for the residents to have a big say in their plans and their future.

Services
Caythorpe is a small friendly care home where we put the residents at the centre of all that goes on. New residents are asked to complete, with their families, a life history book and a "this is me" profile as advised by the Alzheimers society. This means that all activities truly reflect individual interests.
Here at the Caythorpe, we are committed to the well-being of our residents, especially those with mild memory problems. We provide regular exercise, outings, fun and activities. We try to ensure that normal life continues as much as possible with the introduction of a community plan. Live life is what we say at the Caythorpe!
The Caythorpe is a small friendly 19 bedded home, it has been owned by Mrs Christine Lyte for 6 years, it has a sister home at Caythorpe near Grantham this has 14 beds and only has Dementia clients. As an employer we take recruitment seriously, ensuring that all staff are DBS checked; we follow the local County Council recruitment policy and the Care Quality Commission Regulations.
