Services
Play Away is a private day nursery offering full-time and part-time care on two independently run sites in Runcorn. Established in 1993 in purpose built premises, the Beechwood based Play Away has grown and has now firmly established itself as a centre offering high quality childcare to families throughout Halton and the surrounding areas.
The nurseries at Langdale Road and Beechwood have identical age and room grouping, though there is a small difference in registered numbers. Once your child joins Play Away, we will commence an EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Learning Journey. This is an ongoing record of their uniqueness. It provides a summative account of a child's progress within our setting.
The nurseries at both Langdale Road and Beechwood have excellent space allocation - following a similar theme - with four/five rooms dedicated as base areas for Jelly Babies, Jelly Bears, Jelly Tots and Jelly Beans. In addition you will find quiet rooms, baby sleep areas, light sensory rooms, libraries and activity areas, as well as the usual supporting facilities: kitchens, toilets, disabled toilets, staff rooms and storage rooms.
