Quality care for your child requires a quality team and we pride ourselves on the knowledge and passion of our staff. All our nurseries have qualified teams include early years teachers and practitioners who understand how to fully meet the needs of children. Each of our nurseries provide your child with the resources for all of their learning and development needs.
Our Enhanced Activity Centres are located alongside our Thatto Heath and Peasley Cross nurseries in St Helens. They truly are a place for children and young people aged 8 to 18 to feel safe and secure and the environments are spacious, organised and well resourced.
Our highly qualified team work closely with parents to understand and care for their child's individual needs, ensuring that the environment meets their social, moral, spiritual, cultural, mental and physical development.Based over three rooms with a connecting kitchen the centres have a multi-sensory suite, exploratory area and leisure space, arts and crafts corner, games station, large outdoor spaces and more to help build their confidence.

My son started Small Wonders thatto heath a few months after turning 1 up until he was 4. absolutely brilliant nursery with brilliant staff. I never once had a reason to complain and fully trusted all of the girls to take good care of my son. He came on in leaps and bounds and was content in the happy environment the staff created.

When choosing a nursery you want somewhere which is friendly and has lots of activities to keep your children busy but most of all somewhere safe. Small Wonders ticks all the boxes. My two children have been to small wonders and I highly recommend it. the staff are lovely and we felt part of the Small Wonders family.

Jamie had a wonderful time throughout nursery at Small Wonders Thatto Heath. he started aged 8 months until starting school this month. in 4 years we never once had a complaint about his care, education or emotional well being. it is a lovely caring setting. We miss the staff so much who were such a positive influence on his early years.

My little boy went to small wonders (lea Green)from 18months to starting school this year.. All the staff are just AMAZING and if there was a way of keeping my son there instead of school I would have definitely done it... They have supported not just him along the way but me to, nothing was ever a problem.. definitely the best nursery in st helens.... we miss you all loads ❤

Absolutely amazing nursery, when Ava started when she was only a year old she was so painfully shy that she cried if anybody spoke to her or even looked at her that she didn't know. She is now a confident bright friendly little girl and Small Wonders Thatto Heath had a big part in this. Ava loved her time here and was always telling us how much she loved her friends and teachers. Thank you so much for the past 2 and a half years, we wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending this nursery to anyone 🖤
