I started buying capsules from Halo Coffee about 8 months ago in an effort to produce less waste, and I love them. Not only do I love their ethos and effort they put into making the planet a little bit better, their coffee tastes delicious too. I usually get the Noir, which is the perfect strength for me. And yes, Halo is a bit more on the pricey side, but honestly, I think they are worth every penny!

Great service and brilliant compostible packaging. However the coffee is so disappointing. The pods get stuck in the machine and one tore. I bought the strongest coffee but it tasted insipid. I won’t be ordering again.

As a Nespresso consumer, I was looking for a more genuine coffee flavor experience. I like Nespresso, but the taste is always the same, no delicacy. I happened upon Halō and was impressed with their environmental approach and delicious coffee. The coffee tastes like coffee, although I understand why some might consider it a bit weak. It’s like comparing an amazing Burgundy wine with a Tuscan powerhouse. To be honest, the finesse of this coffee (and the environmentally friendly packaging) is well worth the money.

I really wanted to love this coffee due to the sustainability factor - the capsules can be composted with normal food waste and don't need to be industrially composted like some other brands such as Grind. The wrapping is compostable as well as the coffee pods. My order arrived promptly (not as quickly as Nespresso). Unfortunately, the coffee just doesn't hit the mark. It is too weak and all I can taste is the oat milk in my latte. This brand is also 2 - 3 times more expensive than Nespresso (depending on which Nespresso capsules you prefer). I can get 100 Nespresso capsules for the same price

Had a great experience of using Halo capsules - feels good to have great coffee and know the capsules won't contribute to landfill. Highly recommend them!

I have had a HALO subscription for several months now. The coffee is delicious and the costumer service is great. The capsules are truly home compostable unlike some other ones that resemble plastic and are difficult to break down. You can pause your subscription or skip a month when you don't need more capsules. The HALO credits system also makes it more affordable. Overall, I'm very very happy with this coffee!

Really enjoyed Halo's coffee, was a great way to start the day. I've now buried my pods in my garden and will check up on how they're degrading in the coming weeks. Will definitely be ordering again.

The service and quality of the coffee is excellent. The price however is prohibitive and unjustified in my opinion. Compostable capsules are a good idea but Nespresso recycle their capsules minimising the impact on the environment. 3 times the price of Nespresso is really excessive.
